Seed Starting Workshop - "Future Flowers for Charlie"

Come enjoy springtime on a flower farm & help us raise funds for the "Flowers from Charlie" project.

SunKissed welcomes you to join us for an afternoon of seed starting, walking the farm, and learning about the operations at SunKissed and all of the flowers to be grown this season. This year, we are collaborating with "Flowers from Charlie" to raise money for their mission to spread joy through flowers in honor of Charlie Bee.
 
"Flowers from Charlie" is a positivity movement that spreads joy through flowers in honor of the loving memory of a child gone too soon.
Charlie Bee was born premature on 4/14/2018 and fought strong for 4 days until she was called to be with the Lord. She now serves as an angel to watch over us all.
Her family and friends now honor her memory by spreading the joy of flowers with the local community, preparing hundreds of vases to be shared. Raised funds will go directly to the purchase of flowers.

Seed starting class:
-We will provide all the materials necessary to put together a 24-cell tray of a variety of cut flower seeds as well as a small selection of herbs & vegetables. (Cell tray, humidity dome, soil & seed)
-You will be provided with instructions to care for your seeds and seedlings while they germinate and grow.
-Once your seedlings have grown, you can transplant them into your garden/landscape or into pots and you'll have a mini cut flower garden all your own!
 
Farm tour:
-We will take a walk around the farm and learn about the growing processes at SunKissed
-You'll get a sneak peek at everything to be grown for the 2025 season & our new high tunnel and barn!
 
Light refreshments will be provided on site.
